The usual recommended dose is:
1 tablet (75 mg) daily. Enteric-coated tablets are taken after a meal – they are swallowed whole with a little water. The enteric-coated tablet Acard is coated and does not disintegrate in the stomach, which reduces the irritating effects of acetylsalicylic acid on the gastric mucosa.
For recent myocardial infarction or suspected acute myocardial infarction: 4 gastro-resistant tablets (300 mg) simultaneously. Tablets should be chewed very carefully to speed up absorption.
