Tantum Verde with honey and orange flavor is a medicinal product in the form of lozenges with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, disinfectant and anesthetic properties, used for inflammation of the throat and mouth with accompanying symptoms such as: pain, swelling, redness.

Compound
The active substance of the drug: benzydamine – benzydamine hydrochloride (benzydamine hydrochloride).

1 hard lozenge contains 3 mg benzydamine hydrochloride.

Excipients: isomalt (E 953), citric acid monohydrate, orange flavor, honey flavor, levomenthol, acesulfame potassium, quinoline yellow (E 104), sunset yellow (E 110).

Dosage

Tantum Verde – light lozenges in the form of lozenges. These lozenges should not be chewed or crushed.
The drug in children aged 6-11 years should be used under adult supervision.
It is not recommended for use in children under 6 years of age due to the dosage form (formulation) of the drug.
The drug should not be used for more than 7 days.
Children over 6 years old, adolescents and adults: 1 tablet 3 times a day.

Action
Tantum Verde contains benzydamine – an active ingredient belonging to the group of NSAIDs – non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Benzydamine has anti-inflammatory, analgesic – characteristic of NSAIDs, as well as anesthetic and disinfectant properties.
