Focus Shifting Exercise
This exercise improves your eye muscles’ ability to focus on objects at different distances. Hold your finger or a pen about 6 inches from your eyes. Focus on it for 5 seconds, then shift your focus to an object 10-15 feet away. Alternate between the near and far object for about 30 seconds.
Figure Eight Exercise
This exercise strengthens the muscles around your eyes. Imagine a giant number 8 in front of you. Trace the figure with your eyes, moving in one direction for 30 seconds and then switching to the other direction for another 30 seconds. This movement helps improve your eye coordination.
Blinking Exercise
Blurry vision and eye strain are often caused by infrequent blinking, especially when looking at screens. To combat this, practice blinking rapidly for 10 seconds, then close your eyes gently and relax for 20 seconds. Repeat this exercise a few times a day to keep your eyes refreshed.
Incorporating these simple eye exercises into your daily routine can help alleviate strain, improve focus, and support overall eye health. Try these techniques regularly and give your eyes the attention they deserve!
