Herbapini syrup (Sirupus Pini compositum) is an antitussive drug. The syrup contains codeine phosphate, administered temporarily in dry, exhausting cough that accompanies catarrh of the upper respiratory tract. Herbapini is intended for adolescents over 12 years of age and adults.
Composition
The active substances of the drug are pine extract (Pini extractum fluidum), fennel tincture (Foeniculi tinctura), codeine phosphate (Codeini phosphas hemihydricus).
100 g of the syrup contains: 6.6 g of liquid extract from Pinus sylvestris L., turiones (pine shoots, dry) (DER: 1: 1, [extractant: ethanol 90% (v / v)], 1 g of tincture of Foeniculum vulgare Miller subsp. Vulgare var. Vulgare, fructus (bitter fennel fruit) (DER: 1: 5) – 1 g, [extractant: ethanol 70% (v / v)]., 0.05 g codeine phosphate.
Excipients: sucrose, phosphoric acid 85%, calcium lactate pentahydrate, purified water.
The preparation contains up to 7% vol. Alcohol.
15 ml of syrup (1 dose of the drug) contains 9 mg of codeine phosphate.

The drug is administered orally. The usual dosage of Herbapini syrup in adolescents over 12 years of age and adults is 15 ml of the syrup 3 times a day.
