Dix Max tablets are a medicine containing the active ingredient diosmin, which improves the elasticity and tone of the venous walls and maintains the good condition of the veins. It is used for the symptomatic treatment of venous insufficiency of the lower extremities, for example, with pain and heaviness in the legs and muscle cramps. It is also used for the symptomatic treatment of acute hemorrhoidal crises.
Dosage and method of administration
Recommended dosage:
For the symptomatic treatment of venous insufficiency of the lower extremities: it is recommended to take 1 film-coated tablet with meals.
Only for acute hemorrhoidal crises: if symptoms intensify, higher doses are recommended – 1 (one) film-coated tablet three times a day for the first four days, and in the next three days – 1 (one) film-coated tablet shell, twice a day – in the morning.
Contraindications

Do not take this medicine if:
you are allergic (hypersensitivity) to the active substance and/or any of the excipients.
As a precaution, it is preferable to avoid use during pregnancy.
Due to the lack of data on effects on breast milk, treatment should be avoided during breastfeeding.
Efficacy and safety in children and adolescents under 18 years of age have not been studied.
