Storage:
active substance: benzydamine hydrochloride;
1 lollipop contains 3 mg of benzydamine hydrochloride, which is equivalent to 2.68 mg of benzydamine; excipients: isomalt (E 953); citric acid, monohydrate; aspartame (E 951); quinoline yellow (E 104); flavoring “Lemon”; peppermint oil.
Medicinal form. Popsicles
Main physico-chemical properties: Round lollipops of yellow color with a diameter of 19 mm with a lemon flavor.
Indication.
Symptomatic treatment of pain, irritation and inflammation of the oropharynx.
Contraindication.
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to other components of the medicinal product.
Method of application and dosage.
Popsicles should be slowly dissolved in the mouth.
Adults and children over 6 years old: 1 lollipop 3 times a day.
Lollipops should not be swallowed. Lollipops should not be chewed.
The course of treatment should not exceed 7 days.
Children.
This medicinal form is used for children aged 6 and over.
Children aged 6-11 years use this medicine under the supervision of adults.
Overdose.
There have been no reports of benzydamine overdose when applied topically.
However, it is known that benzydamine when ingested in a large dose (which exceeded the possible doses of this dosage form by hundreds of times), especially in children, caused excitement, convulsions, tremors, nausea, increased sweating, ataxia, vomiting. Such an acute overdose requires immediate gastric lavage, treatment of water-electrolyte balance disorders and symptomatic treatment, adequate hydration.
Expiry date. 3 years.
Do not use the drug after the expiration date indicated on the package.
Storage conditions.
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not higher than 25 ºС.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Packaging. 10 or 12 lollipops in a blister. 1, 2 or 3 blisters in a pack.
