The drug is intended for use for mild to moderate pain, cold and flu symptoms with fever, medical conditions, myocardial infarction and the prevention of myocardial infarction.
Compound
active ingredient: acetylsalicylic acid
excipients: corn starch, powdered cellulose, microcrystalline cellulose.
Dosage
Analgesic and antipyretic:
Adults: 300–600 mg (1–2 tablets) every 4 hours. Do not take more than 3 g per day.
Adolescents over 16 years of age: 600–900 mg (2–3 tablets) per day.
In inflammatory conditions, as recommended by your doctor, you usually:
for rheumatism – 900 mg (3 tablets) 4 times a day;
for rheumatoid arthritis – 600 mg (2 tablets) 3-4 times a day.
Recent heart attack and preventing another heart attack:
150–300 mg (0.5–1 tablet) once daily.
The drug is intended for oral use. Tablets are best taken during or after meals with plenty of liquid. The tablet can also be dissolved in 0.5 cups of water or milk.
Contraindications
Polopyrin C should not be prescribed to children under 16 years of age.
The drug is not recommended for use if you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid or any other component of the drug.
