The preparation is used to treat acute and chronic diseases of the respiratory tract, which are accompanied by intensive production of thick, viscous mucus and a wet cough, such as flu, inflammation of the trachea, acute and chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the bronchi), bronchiectasis (enlargement of the bronchi), bronchial asthma, bronchiolitis ( inflammation of the bronchi), cystic fibrosis (cystic fibrosis, congenital disorder of mucus liquefaction).
The product is also used in the treatment of inflammation of the larynx, acute and chronic sinusitis (inflammation of the paranasal sinuses) and otitis media (inflammation of the middle ear) with effusion, and in preoperative and postoperative conditions associated with increased production of viscous mucus in the airways.
The preparation can be used by adults and adolescents from 14 years of age.
