Algoral Infant Epsilon Health is a medical device suitable for the symptomatic treatment of all conditions associated with gastroesophageal reflux (NERD, functional acids, hypersensitive esophagus, acid and non-acid reflux). Its viscous formula allows it to hold and coat the esophageal mucosa, forming a protective barrier. Simethicone, due to its chemical and physical properties, reduces the surface tension of gases in the intestinal contents and promotes their release. This process changes the pressure that gases put on the intestinal contents, causing reflux. Sodium alginate creates a thick barrier that prevents intestinal contents from entering the esophagus.
Dosage and method of administration
Bottle with dosing syringe and measuring spoon: shake bottle before use.
Children: from 0 to 1 year: 5 ml 1-2 times a day, recommended after meals or as prescribed by a doctor.
Children: from 2 to 12 years: 5 ml 1-3 times a day, recommended after meals or as directed by a doctor.
Adults: 5 to 15 ml 2-3 times a day, preferably after meals or as directed by a physician.
