The number of allergy sufferers increases
Around 20–30 % of the world’s population is currently affected by allergies, which means over 100 million affected people in Europe alone. Allergic diseases are increasing significantly in the industrialized countries and even half of all Europeans will suffer by 2025. So you can say that allergies have now achieved a very high spread among the population.
Allergies always have season
Pollen allergies have season all year round. Starting with an alder and hazelnut at the beginning of the year, right up to nettle, mugwort and ambrosia at the end of the year. House dust allergy sufferers also suffer from their allergy in the autumn and winter months, because the heating air dries faster and gets into the breath and from there to the mucous membranes.
Recommendation of application eye drops:
1. Wash your hands.
2. Wipe your eyes lightly with a cloth to remove moisture (see Figure 1).
3. Screw the vial and check that the dropper is clean.
4. Carefully pull the lower eyelid down (see Figure 2).
5. Drizzle the drop carefully into the middle of the lower eyelid (see Figure 3). Make sure that the dripper does not touch the eye.
6. Let go of the lower eyelid and press slightly against the nose from the inner corner of the eye (see Figure 4). Press your finger against your nose and slowly blink to distribute the drop over the eyeball.
7. Then remove excess eye drops with a cloth.
8. Repeat the process for the other eye.
Warnings on other components of allergodil acute eye drops
Allergodil acute eye drops contain the preservative benzalkonium chloride, which is known to discolore soft contact lenses. Contact with soft contact lenses must be avoided. Take out contact lenses before the application and only use it again at the earliest 15 minutes after dropping.
Recommendation of application nasal spray:
Allergodil acute nasal spray should be used with upright head keeping (see instructions/image sequence).
