Complementary treatment of milder forms of high blood pressure (hypertensive diseases) and in presclerotic conditions.
There are no known side effects in the recommended doses and indications. The preparation contains St. John’s wort – possible increased sensitivity to sunlight. St. John’s wort may affect the effect of some concomitantly administered drugs in the treatment of HIV-positive patients. It reduces the effects of cyclosporine and probably other drugs (digoxin, oral contraceptives, theophylline, warfarin, carbamazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin, triptans).
