Ambrex syrup is indicated for the secretolytic treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the bronchi and lungs that occur with the formation of thick secretions in the respiratory tract and impaired transport of secretions (sputum).
Dosage and method of administration
Recommended dosage:
for adults and children over 12 years old – Initial dose: 2 measuring spoons 2 times a day (2 times 10 ml). Subsequently, the dose is adjusted to 1 measuring spoon two to three times a day.
Contraindications

Do not take this medicine if you are allergic (hypersensitivity) to the active substance and/or any of the excipients.
Before taking Ambrex, talk to your doctor or pharmacist:
If you have impaired kidney function or severely impaired liver function.

Ambroxol hydrochloride 30mg/5ml. (ambroxol hydrochloride)
Excipients
Sorbitol (E 420), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216), sodium citrate, citric acid monohydrate, raspberry flavor, purified water.
