Aspargin is used to supplement magnesium and potassium deficiencies:
in heart disorders caused by magnesium and potassium deficiency,
preventively in case of ischemic heart disease and risk of heart attack,
as a support in patients after a heart attack (during the recovery period),
after infectious diseases or surgical procedures that resulted in decreased magnesium and potassium levels,
with long-term use of cardiac glycosides and diuretics (e.g. thiazides, furosemide).
