Aspirin Cardio works on the basis of the presence of salicylic acid, which prevents the adhesion (aggregation) of blood platelets when used for a long time in low doses, thereby preventing the formation of clots.
Indication
The drug Aspirin Cardio is indicated for use in adults with the following diseases of the cardiovascular system:
• with unstable ischemic heart disease,
• if you have recently had a heart attack or if you suspect that you have recently had a heart attack
• in the prevention of a second heart attack,
• in the prevention of thromboembolic complications after surgical or interventional vascular interventions (e.g. percutaneous intravascular coronary angioplasty (PTCA), coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), carotid endarterectomy, arteriovenous shunt,
• to prevent transient ischemic attacks (TIA) and ischemic stroke in patients with TIA
• to prevent a first heart attack in patients with multiple risk factors
• to prevent deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in patients who have been used for a long time, e.g. B. after major surgery they are immobilized as a supplement to other prophylaxis.
