The active ingredient of the drug is vitamin D3, indicated for: prevention of vitamin D deficiency in children and adults, prevention of vitamin D deficiency in women planning pregnancy, pregnancy and breastfeeding upon consultation with a doctor, prevention of rickets and osteomalacia in children and adults, supportive treatment of osteoporosis in adults.
Properties: Vigalex Forte with vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), important in the process of bone tissue formation. Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is produced by the body in the skin under the influence of sunlight (UV radiation), and it can also be ingested through food. Vitamin D3 prevents the disorders of bone calcification (rickets) or loss of calcium from bones (osteomalacia) and supports the proper functioning of the immune system.
Composition: One tablet contains 20 mg of cholecalciferol powder, which is equivalent to 0.05 mg (2000 IU) of cholecalciferol (vitamin D3). Other Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose (type 102), calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, pregelatinized corn starch, crospovidone (type A), sucrose, magnesium stearate, sodium ascorbate, medium chain saturated fatty acid triglycerides, colloidal anhydrous silica, all-rac. -α-Tocopherol.
Application: Youth from 11 to 18 years of age with normal body weight: prevention of vitamin D deficiency: from 1000 to 2000 IU per day; prevention of rickets and osteomalacia: 2000 IU per day. Important information: Do not use in case of: Hypersensitivity to the active substance (cholecalciferol) or to any of the excipients. Hypercalcemia and/or hypercalciuria, nephrolithiasis and/or severe renal failure, Pseudohypoparathyroidism (the need for vitamin D may be reduced due to periods of normal sensitivity to this vitamin, leading to overdose). In this case, more manageable vitamin D derivatives are available.
