Instructions for use
The film-coated tablets should be taken whole, perhaps with a small amount of liquid, immediately before or during meals.
Always take your medication exactly as described or as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
The dosage depends on the level of phosphate in the blood serum.
The recommended dose is:
Adult
The dosage is usually determined after consultation with your doctor. When determining individual and daily doses, it is necessary to take into account the phosphate content and the number of meals.
The dosage range is 1-3 tablets 3 times a day, for example 1 tablet with breakfast, 3 tablets with lunch and 2 tablets with dinner. Do not exceed the maximum dose of 7 tablets (equivalent to 1400 mg calcium).
Children and teenagers (up to 18 years old)
There are no data on use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Therefore, use cannot be recommended for these patients.
Duration of use:
Phosphate binder therapy in patients with chronic renal failure is a long-term therapy and requires regular medical supervision.
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you feel that the effect of this medicine is too strong or too weak.
If you take more medicine than prescribed:
An overdose of calcium can lead to increased calcium levels in the blood (hypercalcemia). Please consult your doctor if you accidentally take too many tablets. Symptoms of overdose may include muscle weakness, abdominal pain, constipation, nausea, vomiting, extreme thirst, irregular heartbeat, and loss of consciousness.
If you forget to take your medicine:
Do not take a double dose if you forget to take the previous dose, but in this case continue taking the prescribed dose.
Under no circumstances should you take it after meals.
If you stop taking the medicine:
Do not interrupt or stop taking the medicine without consulting your doctor.

Contraindications
The medicine cannot be taken
if you are allergic to calcium carbonate or any other ingredients of this medicine.
if the calcium concentration in the blood is too high (hypercalcemia).
An increase in calcium concentration regularly occurs when the parathyroid gland is overactive (hyperparathyroidism). This can also happen if you overdose on vitamin D; some tumors such as lung cancer (bronchial carcinoma), breast cancer (mammary carcinoma), kidney cancer (hypernephroma), certain forms of blood cancer (plasmacytoma) and bone metastases, some lung diseases (sarcoidosis, Beck’s disease); Immobilization of limbs (immobilization osteoporosis).
