Doxylamine succinate is an H1-antihistamine of the ethanolamine class, which has a sedative effect and atropine effect. It has been demonstrated to reduce sleep onset and improve sleep duration and quality.
Recommendations for use and dosage

Dosage
The recommended dosage is 7.5 to 15 mg per day (i.e., ½ to 1 tablet per day). If necessary, the dose can be increased to 30 mg per day (i.e., up to 2 tablets per day).
In the elderly, renal or hepatic impairment: it is recommended to reduce the dose.
Administration mode
Oral route.
One dose per day in the evening, 15–30 minutes before bedtime.
Duration of treatment
The course of treatment is 2-5 days.
If insomnia persists for more than 5 days, treatment should be reconsidered.
