The CONTOUR XT Blood Glucose Monitoring System (meter, sensors, and control solution) is intended for use by people with diabetes for self-monitoring of blood glucose levels and for measuring glucose levels in fresh fingerstick capillary whole blood, arterial whole blood. , venous whole blood, or neonatal blood samples by healthcare professionals. It is used to quantify whole blood glucose from 10 mg/dl to 600 mg/dl.

It is intended for in vitro diagnostic use only.

The CONTOUR XT Blood Glucose Monitoring System is useful in supporting individual diabetes management. The CONTOUR XT Blood Glucose Monitoring System is not intended to diagnose or screen for diabetes mellitus.
