Fenistil gel is a medicinal product that is used to relieve itching associated with various skin reactions:
skin rashes,
urticaria,
insect bites,
sun and superficial burns.
Fenistil gel contains an active ingredient that belongs to the group of drugs called antihistamines.
Fenistil gel reduces itching by blocking the action of histamine – a substance that is released in the body during an allergic reaction. As it penetrates the skin well, itching and skin irritation subsides quickly within minutes.
Fenistil gel also has a local anesthetic effect.
Dosage and method of use
Recommended dosage:
Apply 2 to 4 times daily to affected areas.
Do not apply the gel for more than 7 days without consulting a doctor.
Contraindications

Do not take this medicine if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance and/or any of the excipients.
Active ingredients
Dimetindene maleate (Dimetindene maleate), Each gram of this gel contains 1 mg of Dimetindene maleate.
Excipients
Benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate, carbomer, propylene glycol, sodium hydroxide, purified water.
