The drug is used, for example, for headaches, toothaches, backaches, painful menstruation, muscle and joint pains associated with the flu, and also for soft tissue injuries such as bruises and sprains. It is also used for febrile conditions in the flu and as an additional treatment for febrile conditions in other diseases. For inflammatory-degenerative diseases of the joints and spine (arthritis and arthrosis) or soft tissues of the musculoskeletal system, accompanied by pain, redness, swelling and stiffness of the joints, the drug is used only on the recommendation of a doctor.
Pharmaceutical form
Tablets are pink, doubly convex, covered with a shell, diameter 12.2 mm.
Drug substance and its quantity
Active substance – ibuprofen. One tablet, coated, contains 400 mg of ibuprofen.
How to use
Recommended dosage for pain and fever:
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age usually take 1 tablet of Ibalgin, coated, 3 times a day, i.e. 1 tablet, coated, once or as necessary, a maximum of 3 tablets coated, per day. The interval between individual doses is not less than 4 hours.
Recommended dosage in the treatment of inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the joints and spine or extra-articular rheumatism.
Adults and teenagers from 12 years of age usually take 1–2 coated Ibalgin tablets 3 times a day. The interval between individual doses is not less than 4 hours. You can strengthen the effect of the tablets by applying a cream or gel containing ibuprofen to the affected areas (e.g. joints, muscles, tendons, back). If the treatment of rheumatic diseases does not improve within one to two weeks, consult a doctor about further actions.
If during the treatment there are problems with digestion, take the medicine with a meal or drink it with milk.
