Kaloba 20 mg / 7.5 ml syrup is a herbal medicinal product (phytopharmaceutical), the active substance of which is a dried extract from the root of the Pelargonium sidoides plant (EPs 7630).
The product is used to treat acute bronchitis that does not require the administration of antibiotics.
Acute bronchitis is characterized by either a dry, irritating cough with pain when coughing, or a wet cough accompanied by difficult expectoration of mucus. The disease may be accompanied by an increased temperature. Acute bronchitis can often be preceded or accompanied by inflammation of the upper respiratory tract (runny nose, nasopharyngitis, scratchy throat, etc.).
The preparation is intended for adults, adolescents and children from 1 year of age.
