How does Lactrase® work?

The enzyme lactase contained in Lactrase® breaks down the milk sugar and thus takes over the function of the body’s own lactase, which is lacking in the event of a lactase deficiency. Lactrase® therefore generally enables milk and milk products to be enjoyed without symptoms. This also ensures that the body is supplied with the essential nutrients, minerals and vitamins contained in milk. These include in particular protein, calcium, vitamin A and vitamin D.
