Indications
Melatonin LEK-AM is used as an adjunct in:
sleep disorders related to sleep-wake rhythm disturbances,
e.g. in sleep disorders related to changing time zones or in connection with shift work
circadian rhythm disturbances of sleep and wakefulness in blind patients.
Dosage
Adults: For time zone-related sleep disorders: 2 mg to 3 mg of melatonin once daily at dusk, starting on the first day of travel. Continue treatment for 2-3 more days after the end of the trip.
