You place the menstrual cup in the disinfectant cup and fill it 2/3 with water. The menstrual cup must begin to float, but it does not necessarily have to be submerged, the steam generated during boiling disinfects the entire cup. Cover with a lid with a steam hole. The correct setting of the sterilization length depends on the performance of the microwave oven model. The water must be boiling for disinfection to be effective. If you are not sure, please read the microwave oven manual. Most customers use a medium level of power / input for 3 – 5 minutes.
