It is necessary to take Magnesium Verla® medicines if the body is not sufficiently supplied with magnesium and magnesium deficiency symptoms occur (see under “General information”). The recommended daily dosage of magnesium (120-365 mg per day) should ideally be divided into 2-3 intakes per day, as the body can absorb small amounts of magnesium better than large single doses. In order to replenish the magnesium stores, it should be taken over a period of at least 4 weeks.
