Mezim® forte 10000 Ph. Euro. U is a medicine containing substances (enzymes) from the pig’s pancreas (pancreas powder, also called pancreatin) that aid digestion.
Dosage and method of administration
Recommended dosage:
2-4 tablets with meals.
The usual starting dose for children under 4 years of age is 1 capsule per meal.
Contraindications
Read the instructions for the medicine carefully!
Do not take this medicine if:
you are allergic (hypersensitivity) to the active substance and/or any of the excipients.
you suffer from acute inflammation of the pancreas or an exacerbation of chronic inflammation of the pancreas in the active phase of the disease.
Active Ingredients
80 mg – 111 111 mg pancreatin (pork pancreas powder), Lipase 10000, Amylase no less than 7500, Protease no less than 375.
Excipients
Lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, methacrylic acid copolymer – ethyl acrylate (1:1 dispersion) 30%, triethyl citrate, talc, simethicone emulsion consisting of simethicone, methylcellulose, sorbic acid (f. euro ), water; macrogol 6000, carmellose sodium, polysorbate 80 (vegetable), azorubine (dye 122), titanium dioxide, sodium hydroxide.
