Nasal spray containing a corticosteroid. A preparation with local anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects. Nasometin Control contains the active substance mometasone furoate, a drug from the corticosteroid group. Mometasone furoate sprayed into the nose may help relieve inflammation (swelling and irritation of the nasal mucosa). Nasometin Control is used to treat the symptoms of doctor-diagnosed seasonal allergic rhinitis (also called hay fever) in adults aged 18 years and over. Hay fever, which occurs several times a year, is an allergic reaction caused by inhaled pollen from trees, grasses, weeds, as well as molds and fungal spores. Nasometin Control reduces the swelling and irritation of the nasal mucosa, thus relieving sneezing, itching and blocked or runny nose caused by hay fever. Nasometin Control has a cap that protects the dispenser tip and prevents contamination. Remember to remove it before using the spray and reapply it after use.
