Nicorette Invisipache is a clear transdermal patch that is used to treat nicotine addiction in active smokers by minimizing the need to light a cigarette and reducing the difficulties smokers have in trying to quit smoking. Nicorette patches help you quit smoking easily by delivering a constant, controlled dose of nicotine to your body, relieving cravings and withdrawal symptoms. Nicotine is released through the skin within 16 hours. It is absorbed slowly compared to smoking a cigarette, so you should be prepared to wait a while for the nicotine to enter your body. Therefore, the patches contain less nicotine than smoking, but enough to help prevent the withdrawal symptoms and cravings that typically occur after quitting smoking.
Dosage and method of administration
Recommended dosage:
The patch should be applied once a day to a clean, dry, intact area of the skin on the thigh, armpit or chest. For transdermal use.
On the day you start treatment, you must completely stop smoking, and your last cigarette should be the day before sticking the patch on your skin. Do not smoke during treatment.
Treatment with Nicorette Clear usually lasts 12 weeks. Treatment begins with higher-dose patches and then gradually progresses to patches with lower amounts of nicotine. Highly dependent smokers (>20 cigarettes per day) should begin treatment with a 25 mg/16 hour patch, using one patch for 8 weeks. Then you should begin to gradually remove the patches. One 15 mg/16 hour patch should be applied every day for 2 weeks, followed by one 10 mg/16 hour patch daily for 2 weeks.
Contraindications
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not take this product if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance and/or any of the excipients. Not recommended for use by persons under 18 years of age, pregnant or breastfeeding women. Adverse reactions:
Frequent cases are headache, dizziness, nausea and vomiting, erythema, itching, swelling.
Uncommon: palpitations, urticaria.
Very rare cases – reversible atrial fibrillation.

Excipients
Nicotine layer: polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film, medium chain triglycerides, basic butylated methacrylate copolymer. Acrylate layer: acrylic adhesive solution, potassium hydroxide, croscarmellose sodium, aluminum acetylacetonate. Protective layer: polyethylene terephthalate film (PET), aluminized on one side, siliconized on both sides.
