NICORETTE INVISIPATCH 25MG/16H, 7

Monotherapy: Treatment with patches usually lasts 12 weeks, 8 weeks of treatment with a sufficient therapeutic dose followed by 4 weeks of tapering. Smokers with a high degree of dependence are recommended to start treatment with Nicorette® invisipatch 25 mg/16 h, one patch once daily for 8 weeks. After 8 weeks, the dose of nicotine should be gradually reduced. For the next 2 weeks, one Nicorette® invisipatch 15 mg/16 h patch is applied once a day, and for the following 2 weeks one Nicorette® invisipatch 10 mg/16 h patch is applied once a day. Smokers with a lower degree of dependence are recommended to start treatment with Nicorette® invisipatch 15 mg/16 h one patch once a day for 8 weeks. After 8 weeks, the dose of nicotine should be gradually reduced. For the next 4 weeks, one Nicorette® invisipatch 10 mg/16 h patch is applied once a day.
