Nurofen for children is used as an analgesic for the relief of pain, for example, during teething, toothache, mild muscle pain and sprains, sore throat, as well as for the symptomatic relief of headaches.
Nurofen for children with orange flavor reduces high temperature (fever), including temperature after vaccination.
Dosage and method of administration
Recommended dosage:
Infants 3-6 months, body weight more than 5 kg: 50 mg (2.5 ml) up to 3 times a day for 24 hours.
Infants 6–12 months: 50 mg (2.5 ml) up to 3–4 times daily for 24 hours.
Children 1-3 years: 100 mg (5 ml) up to 3 times a day for 24 hours.
Children aged 4-6 years: 150 mg (5 ml + 2.5 ml) up to 3 times a day for 24 hours.
Children aged 7-9 years: 200 mg (2×5 ml) up to 3 times every 24 hours.
Children 10-12 years old: 300 mg (3×5 ml) up to 3 times every 24 hours.
Contraindications

100 mg ibuprofen in 5 milliliters
Excipients
Liquid maltitol, purified water, glycerin, citric acid, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, sodium saccharin, xanthan gum, polysorbate 80, domiphene bromide and orange essence.
