PARALEN SUS 24MG/ML, 100ML

In children from 3 months of age, a single dose of 10-15 mg of paracetamol/kg of body weight is used for the treatment of fever and pain. It is given as needed in 6-hour intervals, the interval can be shortened to 4 hours if necessary, while the total daily dose must not be exceeded. Do not give more than 4 doses in 24 hours. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
The total daily dose must not exceed 60 mg/kg of body weight for children under 6 years of age, 1500 mg of paracetamol for children from 6 to 12 years of age with a weight of 21-25 kg and 2000 mg of paracetamol for a weight of 26-40 kg.
Unless the doctor recommends otherwise, determine the correct dose of the product using the following table according to the weight of the child:
Age / Weight: 3–6 months / 5–6 kg, Single dose: 72 mg paracetamol = 3 ml suspension, Max. daily dose: 300 mg paracetamol
Age / Weight: 3–6 months / 7–8 kg, Single dose: 96 mg paracetamol = 4 ml suspension, Max. daily dose: 420 mg paracetamol
Age / Weight: 6–12 months/ 9–10 kg, Single dose: 120 mg paracetamol = 5 ml suspension, Max. daily dose: 540 mg paracetamol
Age / Weight: 1–2 years/ 11–13 kg, Single dose: 144 mg paracetamol = 6 ml suspension, Max. daily dose: 660 mg paracetamol
Age / Weight: 2–3 years/ 14–16 kg, Single dose: 192 mg paracetamol = 8 ml suspension, Max. daily dose: 840 mg paracetamol
Age / Weight: 3–6 years/ 17–20 kg, Single dose: 240 mg paracetamol = 10 ml suspension, Max. daily dose: 1 g paracetamol
Age / Weight: 6–12 years/ 21–25 kg, Single dose: 312 mg paracetamol = 13 ml suspension, Max. daily dose: 1.25 g paracetamol
Age / Weight: 6–12 years/ 26–33 kg, Single dose: 384 mg paracetamol = 16 ml suspension, Max. daily dose: 1.5 g paracetamol
Age / Weight: 6–12 years/ 34–40 kg, Single dose: 480 mg paracetamol = 20 ml suspension, Max. daily dose: 2 g of paracetamol
Each package includes a syringe for oral administration, which can be used to accurately measure the dose. The suspension must be washed down with a sufficient amount of liquid.
