The active substances of the drug are Tribenosidum and lidocaine hydrochloride (Lidocaini hydrochloridum).
Warnings and measures
Procto-Glyvenol contains cetyl alcohol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate, which may cause a local skin reaction.
Before starting the drug, caution should be exercised in patients with impaired liver function.
In addition to treating hemorrhoids with Procto-Glyvenol, it is recommended to maintain proper anal hygiene, perform appropriate physical activity and follow an appropriate diet to maintain a soft consistency of the stool.
The medicine must not be taken orally.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Do not store at temperatures above 30oC.
Keep the medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Procto-Glyvenol rectal cream should not be used during the first 3 months of pregnancy.
Procto-Glyvenol rectal cream can be used from the 4th month of pregnancy and during breastfeeding, provided that the recommended doses are not exceeded.
