Storage:
active substance: 1 ml of solution contains chamomile flower (Flores Chamomillae) liquid extract (1:1) – 1 g;
excipients: polysorbate, ethanol 50%.
Medicinal form. Solution.
Main physicochemical properties: dark brown liquid with a chamomile smell. Sediment formation is allowed.
Indication.
As an independent remedy or in complex therapy for inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity (stomatitis, gingivitis, glossitis, periodontitis); in diseases of the upper respiratory tract (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, including after tonsillectomy); in proctology for hemorrhoids; in gynecology – locally for inflammatory processes, cervical erosion; for prophylactic treatment of the vagina before caesarean section. Use the drug in the form of rinses, inhalations, enemas, baths.
Internally for chronic gastritis, colitis, enterocolitis, peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum.
Contraindication.
Hypersensitivity to any components of the drug.
Method of application and dosage.
For diseases of the oral cavity – for rinsing: dissolve 2 teaspoons (10 ml) of the drug in a glass (200 ml) of water. In case of periodontitis, soak the turundas in this solution, which must be inserted into the gum pockets for 10-15 minutes every day for 3-7 days.
For diseases of the upper respiratory tract, use a solution for daily inhalation: dissolve 2 teaspoons (10 ml) of the drug in a glass (200 ml) of water, use for 10 days.
In diseases of the stomach and duodenum (chronic gastritis, colitis, enterocolitis, peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum), the extract should be taken orally in the form of a solution: for adults, 1 teaspoon (5 ml of the drug per ½ cup — (100 ml) of warm water 20 minutes before eat 2-4 times a day.
For hemorrhoids, use in the form of enemas and baths: 2 teaspoons (10 ml) of the drug per glass (200 ml) of warm water 2-3 times a day.
For vaginal washings — 2-3 tablespoons (30-45 ml) of the drug per 1 liter of warm water 2-3 times a day for 3-4 weeks.
Children. There is no experience of using the drug in children.
Overdose.
There are no data on drug overdose.
Adverse reactions.
With individual hypersensitivity to chamomile, allergic reactions may occur (hyperemia, rash, skin itching, urticaria, Quincke’s edema, anaphylactic shock).
Expiration date. 3 years.
Storage conditions. Store in the original packaging at a temperature not higher than 25 °C.
Keep out of the reach of children.
