Solcoseryl is a medicinal product that regenerates and supports skin repair processes. Gel used in the treatment of for wounds, burns, frostbites, bedsores.
The active substance is: protein-free calf blood dialysate.
1 g contains 4.15 mg of protein-free calf dialysate.
Excipients: methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, calcium lactate pentahydrate, sodium carmellose, propylene glycol, water for injections.
Dosage

A drug for topical application to the skin.
Solcoseryl in the form of a gel can be used on oozing wounds.
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: twice a day on the affected area. Before application, the skin should be cleansed.
Action
Protein-free dialysate supports the healing process by supporting the wound healing phase – it stimulates granulation. Solcoseryl stimulates oxygen metabolic processes, increases the amount of substances that provide cells with energy. As a result, tissue regeneration and renewal processes are facilitated, e.g. by stimulating collagen synthesis, cell migration and proliferation. Solcoseryl protects tissues and cells from hypoxia and lack of nutrients.
Indications
Auxiliary treatment:
small wounds,
ulcers of venous origin,
badly healing wounds,
frostbite,
1st and 2nd degree burns, burn scars,
bedsores,
trophic changes in patients with arterial occlusive diseases,
radiation damage to the skin,
to the site of skin donation,
for extensive mesh skin grafts.
Contraindications
Do not use Solcoseryl:
in case of hypersensitivity (allergy) to the active substance – calf protein-free dialysate, methyl and propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218 and E 216) or to any of the other ingredients of this drug,
in people under 12 years of age.
