Orophar MAX contains 2 active substances responsible for an analgesic effect on the mucous membranes and relieving pain (lidocaine) and an antiseptic (disinfectant) effect that is active against bacteria, viruses and fungi (cetylpyridinium chloride).Composition:
Active ingredients: cetylpyridinium chloride (Cetylpyridinii chloridum) and lidocaine hydrochloride (Lidocaini hydrochloride).
1 lozenge contains 2 mg of cetylpyridinium chloride and 1 mg of lidocaine hydrochloride.
Excipients: peppermint oil from peppermint leaves, Schimmel’s peppermint oil, levomenthol, acesulfame potassium, corn starch, citric acid monohydrate, macrogol 6000, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, sorbitol.
Dosage:
Always use this medication exactly as directed in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
The drug is intended for oral use in the oral cavity.
The tablets should be dissolved without chewing or crushing.
The drug should be used for a short period of time; if there is no improvement, worsening symptoms or the appearance of new ones (fever, vomiting, dizziness), you should consult a doctor.
Children from 6 to 12 years old: 1 lozenge every 3–4 hours, depending on the intensity of pain. Do not take more than 3 lozenges per day.
Children over 12 years old and adults:
acute inflammation: 1 tablet every 1-2 hours,
for mild inflammation: 1 tablet every 2-3 hours.
Adults and people over 12 years of age should not take more than 6 lozenges per day.
Do not use this medication with or immediately after meals.
The drug should not be used with alcohol due to the possibility of increased absorption of cetylpyridinium chloride and the risk of overdose.
Contraindications:
in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances (cetylpyridinium chloride, lidocaine hydrochloride), other local anesthetics from the amide group or to any of the other ingredients of this drug.
