Cordyceps is an exotic mushroom originating in Asia. It grows at high altitudes, it needs to parasitize on butterfly caterpillars for its development. Cordyceps is a source of polysaccharides as well as proteins or amino acids. In the caterpillar we also find minerals iron, magnesium, calcium, B vitamins (vitamin B12, vitamin B1, vitamin B2), vitamins E and K, omega fatty acids and amino acids.
