Description
Tantum Rosa is a preparation in the form of a vaginal solution used to treat ailments and symptoms such as: pain, burning, itching, redness, discharge, swelling around the vulva and vagina.
Compound
The active ingredient is benzydamine hydrochloride (benzydamine hydrochloride).
100 ml of solution contains 100 mg of benzydamine hydrochloride.
Excipients: benzalkonium chloride solution, disodium edetate, ethanol 96%, polysorbate 20, rose oil, purified water.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The drug is intended for washing the vagina. Each bottle is disposable. The room temperature vaginal solution contained in the vial is ready for use. You can increase its temperature by immersing the bottle in warm water for a few minutes.
Recommended dosage: 1 to 2 rinses per day, depending on the severity of the disease;
Treatment of diseases and symptoms of inflammation of the external genital organs (perineum and vulva), combined with vaginitis and / or cervicitis: 1 to 2 rinses per day, unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor.
Pre- and postoperative prophylaxis in gynecology: according to the doctor’s indications.
In the case of self-treatment, Tantum Rose can be used continuously for no longer than 7 days, and the doctor must decide on a possible extension. To improve the condition, treatment should not be shorter than 3 days.
