Drug substance and its quantity
The active ingredient is penciclovir. One gram of Vectavir contains 10 mg of penciclovir.
How to use
During the day, apply the cream to the affected area every 2 hours (about 8 times a day) for 4 days.
Recommended Use
Treatment should begin as early as possible, before herpes appears, that is, when you feel a burning or itching sensation.
However, the cream is effective even if you start using it only after the cold sore appears.
