Compound
Active ingredient: troxerutin.

1 capsule contains 300 mg of troxerutin (Troxerutinum).

Excipients: povidone K-25, talc, magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide (E 171), red iron oxide (E 172), yellow iron oxide (E 172), gelatin.

Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose for adults is 1 capsule 2 or 3 times a day. Capsules should be taken orally as a whole, after meals, drinking plenty of water.
The maintenance dose is 1 capsule daily after meals.

Action
The drug has a protective effect on blood vessels.

Indications
Venolan is recommended for use in disorders of venous and lymphatic circulation, post-thrombotic syndromes, phlebitis and varicose veins of the lower extremities, venous edema, leg ulcers, increased capillary permeability, petechiae and hemorrhages.

Contraindications
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.

Rare side effects (1 to 10 in 10,000 people) include nausea (reversible when taken with food), flatulence, abdominal pain, urticaria, facial flushing, photosensitivity, and headache.
