Zyrtec tablets are an antiallergic medicinal product that contains the active substance cetirizine dihydrochloride.
It is indicated in adults and children aged 6 years and over:
for the relief of nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis.
to relieve urticaria.
Dosage and method of use
Recommended dosage:
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 10 mg once daily as 1 tablet.
Other forms of this medicine may be more suitable for children. Ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Children between 6 and 12 years of age: 5 mg twice a day, as half a tablet twice a day. Other forms of this medicine may be more suitable for children. Ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Tablets should be swallowed with a glass of liquid.
The tablet can be divided into 2 equal doses.

Contraindications
Read the leaflet of the medicinal product carefully!
Do not take this medicine if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance and/or any of the excipients.
The use of Zyrtec during pregnancy should be avoided.
Do not take Zyrtec while breastfeeding, unless you have been told by a doctor.
