Zyrtec drops are an antiallergic drug with the active ingredient cetirizine dihydrochloride.
Indications for adults and children aged 2 years and older:
for the relief of nasal and ocular symptoms associated with conjunctivitis in seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis
to relieve hives.
Dosage and method of administration
Recommended dosage:
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 10 mg once daily, 20 drops.
Use in children aged 6 to 12 years: 5 mg twice daily, 10 drops twice daily.
Use in children aged 2 to 6 years: 2.5 mg twice daily, 5 drops twice daily.
Drops should be poured into a spoon or diluted with water and taken orally.
If dilution is carried out, it should be borne in mind, especially when used in children, that the volume of water to which the drops are added must correspond to the amount of water that the patient can swallow.
The diluted solution should be taken immediately.
When counting drops, the bottle should be held vertically (from top to bottom). If the drops do not flow or the required amount has not been reached, straighten the bottle and turn it upside down again, continuing to count the drops.
Contraindications

Do not take this medicine if you are allergic (hypersensitivity) to the active substance and/or any of the excipients.
Active Ingredients
Cetirizine dihydrochloride 10 mg
(Cetirizine dihydrochloride)
One ml (equivalent to 20 drops) contains 10 mg of cetirizine dihydrochloride. One drop contains cetirizine dihydrochloride 0.5 mg.
Excipients
Glycerin, propylene glycol, sodium saccharin, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216), sodium acetate, glacial acetic acid, purified water.
