Amertil tablets are used to counteract allergic symptoms caused by the action of various allergens. Amertil tablets is indicated for the treatment of adults and children over 6 years of age: chronic and seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever), seasonal allergic conjunctivitis, chronic urticaria.
In Amertil tablets, the active substance is Cetirizine, which is a second-generation antihistamine with a strong and long-lasting effect.
It counteracts an allergic reaction at an early stage, and also inhibits the migration of eosinophilic cells and reduces the release of mediators of the late phase of an allergic reaction.
