auxiliary substances: propylene glycol, menthol, citric acid, sodium citrate, ethanol 96%, purified water.
Pharmaceutical form. Spray for the oral cavity.
Main physicochemical properties: transparent, slightly opalescent red-brown liquid with a specific smell, miscible with water.
Indication.
Disinfection of the oral cavity and pharynx in inflammatory and infectious diseases: sore throat, pharyngitis, tonsillopharyngitis, tonsillitis, glossitis and aphthous stomatitis; as part of complex treatment with antibiotics for strep throat; the first symptoms of acute respiratory viral infections.
Contraindication.
Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug;
Dühring’s herpetiform dermatitis;
· hyperthyroidism, adenoma or dysfunction of the thyroid gland;
· decompensated heart failure;
· impaired kidney function;
· 2 weeks before and after examination or therapy with radioactive iodine.
Method of application and dosage.
Apply the spray locally on the mucous membrane of the oral cavity and pharynx.
Spray the drug from a bottle with an oral spray device.
Remove the safety cap.
Press 2-3 times until the solution reaches the sprayer and starts to spray after pressing.
Insert the tube of the oral nebulizer into the oral cavity, hold your breath and press twice, each time directing the jet of the drug to the corresponding area of the throat cavity on the right and left. During use, the bottle should be held vertically.
Do not inhale or swallow the sprayed solution.
Apply to adults and children over 8 years old, as a rule, 2-4 times a day, if necessary – every 4 hours.
The spray can be used no more than 6 times a day.
Elderly patients and patients with liver failure need to adjust the dose (see the section “Particulars of use”).
The duration of treatment depends on the nature and course of the disease and is determined by the doctor individually.
Children.
To be used for the treatment of children over 8 years of age.
Children aged 8 to 12 should use the drug under the supervision of a doctor.
Children should use the drug with caution, considering the possibility of laryngospasm.
Overdose.
With proper application of the drug locally in the oral cavity or pharynx, there were no cases of overdose. However, in the case of swallowing iodine solution, acute poisoning developed. Patients initially felt a metallic taste in the mouth, vomiting, stomach pain and diarrhea began. Anuria, swelling of the glottis followed by asphyxia, aspiration pneumonia or pulmonary edema were observed for 1-3 days. In some cases, even severe circulatory disorders were observed.

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not higher than 25 °C.
