The medicine inhibits, among other things, the sticking and clumping of platelets (platelets) and thereby prevents the formation of blood clots (thrombi) (inhibition of platelet aggregation).
The medicine is used:
to prevent a second heart attack after the first heart attack (to prevent a second heart attack).
Notification:
The medicine is not suitable for the treatment of pain due to its enteric-coated composition.

The tablets should be taken whole, preferably at least 30 minutes before meals, with plenty of water.
To treat an acute heart attack, the first tablet should be bitten or chewed.

The recommended daily dose is 1 gastro-resistant tablet (corresponding to 300 mg of acetylsalicylic acid per day).
Duration of use
The medicine is intended for long-term use. The duration of use will be determined by the attending physician.
If you took more than you should
Dizziness and ringing in the ears may be signs of serious poisoning, especially in children and elderly patients.
If you suspect an overdose, tell your doctor immediately.
This person can decide what action is necessary depending on the severity of the overdose/poisoning.
If you forget to take it
If you do not take enough medicine or forget a dose, do not take twice as much next time, but continue taking it as described in the dosage instructions or as directed by your doctor.
If you stop taking it
Please do not interrupt or stop treatment with the drug without first discussing this with your doctor.

Contraindication
The medicine cannot be taken
if you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid, salicylates, or any other ingredients of this medicine.
if you have had a history of asthma attacks or other allergic reactions to certain medicines for pain, fever or inflammation (salicylates or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs).
for acute ulcers of the stomach and intestines.
with a pathologically increased tendency to bleeding (hemorrhagic diathesis).
with liver and kidney failure.
with severe weakness of the heart muscle (heart failure) that cannot be controlled with medication.
if you are also taking 15 mg or more methotrexate per week.
in the last 3 months of pregnancy at a dose of more than 150 mg of acetylsalicylic acid per day (see also section “Information for pregnant women”).
