Dexpanthenol and chlorhexidine dihydrochloride

Bepanten plus is a cream that contains two medicinal substances.

The medicinal substance dexpanthenol is transformed in skin cells into pantothenic acid from the B group of vitamins. It is indispensable for the formation and regeneration of the skin, increases the elasticity and strength of scars.
Chlorhexidine is a substance with a disinfecting effect that prevents the reproduction of microbes on the surface of wounds. This prevents the formation and spread of infection in the wound.
Also, Bepanten Plus prevents wounds from drying out and relieves their pain due to its cooling effect.

It can be used without consulting a doctor for dry and moist superficial skin damage, such as sores, cuts and scratches, tears and cracks in the skin, small burns, bedsores, skin inflammation and for the treatment of cracked nipples in nursing women. After consulting a doctor, it is also used to treat chronic conditions such as leg ulcers and bedsores, to treat skin infections (such as secondary infected eczema and neurodermatitis, an inflammatory itchy skin condition), and for minor surgical procedures.

The treatment period is 7-14 days.
