Dosage
Biosterone should be taken once a day, in the morning, in accordance with the natural rhythm of DHEA secretion. The medicine should be taken with food to make it easier to digest.
The recommended starting single daily dose of DHEA is 5 mg for women and 10 mg for men. The initial dose should be increased gradually (by 5-10 mg every 2 weeks). The maximum daily dose of DHEA recommended for women is 25 mg and for men 50 mg.
The effect of the drug is not instantaneous and manifests itself after a few weeks of use, so Biosteron is intended for long-term use.
Compound
Active ingredient: dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). 1 tablet contains 25 mg DHEA.
Other Ingredients: Colloidal silica anhydrous, microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate.
Contraindications
Do not use Biosteron:
– if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of the medicine;
– if you have breast, ovarian or other estrogen-dependent cancer;
– if you have benign hyperplasia and prostate cancer, male breast cancer;
– if you suffer from severe liver failure;
– if you suffer from severe renal insufficiency;
– during pregnancy and lactation
