Ingredients
The active substances are: organic calcium salts (gluconolactobionate and lactobionate).
100 ml contains: Calcii glubionas anhydricus 29.4 g (anhydrous calcium gluconolactobionate ), Calcii lactobionas dihydricus 6.4 g (calcium lactobionate dihydrate), which corresponds to 2.31 g of calcium ions.
5 ml of syrup contains 115.6 mg of calcium ions.
Excipients: sucrose, sodium benzoate (E 211), citric acid monohydrate (E 330), banana flavor, purified water.

Always use this medicine exactly as directed in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Calcium HASCO is intended for oral administration. The syrup should be dispensed with the measuring cup attached to the package.
Adults: 15 ml 2 or 3 times a day.
Children under 6 years : 5 ml 2 or 3 times a day,
Children from 6 to 12 years: 2 ml 3 or 3 times a day.

Calcium is part of the skeleton and is essential for many physiological processes, including blood clotting, muscle contractility and nerve conduction. Calcium ions reduce the permeability of vascular walls and act against exudation and swelling.
Indication
Indications for the use of Calcium HASCO are prevention and supplementation of calcium deficiency in the body, e.g. B. during pregnancy or breastfeeding, treatment of osteoporosis and supportive treatment of allergy symptoms.
Contraindication
Do not take Calcium HASCO:
• If you are allergic to medicinal substances or any other component of this preparation,
• if you have a high level of calcium in your blood (hypercalcemia, e.g. in patients with hyperparathyroidism, severe kidney failure, vitamin D overdose),
• with increased excretion of calcium in the urine (hypercalciuria),
• in severe renal failure,
• in kidney stones,

Side effects
Like all medicines, this product can have side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Rare side effects :
• Gastrointestinal disorders (constipation, diarrhea). Increased blood calcium (hypercalcaemia with nausea, abdominal pain, bone pain, muscle weakness) may occur mainly in people with impaired kidney function.
Warnings and precautions
• Be careful when using the drug in people with kidney failure and high doses of vitamin D.
• If you have been diagnosed with an intolerance to certain sugars, consult your doctor before taking the medicine.

• Calcium Hasco should be stored in closed containers at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
• Keep the drug out of the reach of children.
Taking other medicines
Tell the doctor or pharmacist about all medicines that the patient is taking now or has recently taken, and about any medicines that the patient will take.
Calcium HASCO may interact with:
• Some heart medicines (digitalis glycosides or calcium channel blockers) can cause serious heart problems (at high doses of calcium).
• Some antibiotics (from the tetracycline group) and quinolones, levothyroxine, nitrofurantoin, bisphosphonates, chlorpromazine, penicillamines, blood thinners and fluoride compounds. A 3-hour interval is recommended between taking HASCO calcium syrup and the above medicines.
• Thiazide diuretics, which reduce calcium excretion, and vitamin D increase calcium absorption.

The drug can be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding under the supervision of a doctor.
Driving and operating machines
The drug does not affect the ability to drive and operate machinery.
