How to use dental floss correctly?
Daily flossing and proper flossing technique will allow you to receive optimal health benefits for your teeth and gums:
Wash your hands thoroughly to avoid getting bacteria into your mouth.
Measure approximately 45 cm of thread and wrap it around the middle or index fingers of both hands.
Leave about 2.5–5 cm of stretched thread between them.
Insert the taut floss into the space between your teeth and gently move it up and down the tooth.
Gently wrap the floss around the base of each tooth, being careful to tuck it neatly under the gum line.
When brushing your teeth, use clean pieces of floss.
When removing the floss, use the same movements from the gum to the top of the tooth.
