eicosapentaenoic acid 300 mg;
docosahexaenoic acid 200 mg;
other fatty acids 498 mg;
d-α-tocopherol (vitamin E) 2 mg;
auxiliary substances: auxiliary substances: gelatin, glycerin (as part of the gelatin shell of the capsule).
Medicinal form. Capsules are soft.
Main physico-chemical properties: soft gelatin capsules from light yellow to dark yellow in color, oval in shape, with a seam. The contents of the capsule are an oily liquid from light yellow to dark yellow in color with a specific smell.
Pharmacotherapeutic group. Omega-3 triglycerides, including other esters and acids.

Clinical characteristics.
Indication.
As primary prevention of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases.
As part of complex therapy of atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, arterial hypertension; for secondary prevention of myocardial infarction as an addition to standard treatment methods (for example, statins, antiplatelet agents, beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors); with hypertriglyceridemia as a supplement to diet therapy, if the latter is not effective enough.
Contraindication.
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the medicinal product. Exacerbation of chronic cholecystitis, exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis, exacerbation of diseases of the hepatobiliary system, gallstone disease, pathological conditions that include hemorrhagic syndrome.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions.
It is not recommended to prescribe together with fibrates due to the lack of clinical experience.
Administration of Epadol Neo simultaneously with warfarin did not lead to hemorrhagic complications, however, in case of combined use of these drugs or discontinuation of Epadol Neo treatment, prothrombin time should be monitored.
Method of application and dosage.
Take internally during meals.
For preventive purposes, adults and children over 12 years of age should be prescribed 1 capsule per day. According to individual indications, the dose of the medicinal product can be increased to 2 capsules per day.
In complex therapy of cardiovascular diseases – 2 capsules per day.
With hypertriglyceridemia, the initial dose is 2 capsules per day (in 1 or 2 doses). In case of insufficient effect, increase the dose of the medicine to 4 capsules per day.
Treatment should be continued until the required therapeutic effect is achieved.
Children.
The drug should not be used by children under 12 years of age.
Overdose.
In the event of an overdose, allergic reactions similar to those observed in the side effect may be observed.
