active substance: phenibut;

1 tablet contains 100 mg (0.1 g) or 250 mg (0.25 g) of phenibut;

excipients: lactose monohydrate, potato starch, povidone, calcium stearate.

Medicinal form. Tablets.

The main physical and chemical properties: tablets are white or white with a yellowish tinge, flat-cylindrical, with a chamfer; on one surface of the tablet the trademark of the company is applied, on the other surface of the tablet there is a dash.

Pharmacotherapeutic group.

Psychostimulants, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and nootropics. Other psychostimulants and nootropics. Phenibut.
Clinical characteristics.

Indication.

Asthenic and anxiety-neurotic conditions (emotional lability, memory impairment, reduced concentration of attention), feelings of restlessness, fear, anxiety, neurosis of obsessive states.

Children have stuttering, enuresis, tics.

Elderly patients have insomnia, night restlessness.

Ménière’s disease, dizziness associated with dysfunction of the vestibular apparatus, stagger prevention.

Prevention of stressful conditions, before operations or painful diagnostic studies.

As an auxiliary tool during the treatment of withdrawal syndrome in alcoholism.

Contraindication.

Increased sensitivity to the components of the drug. Acute renal failure.
Method of application and dosage.

Use the medicine internally before eating.

Adults and children over 14 years of age use 250–500 mg 3 times a day. If necessary, the daily dose can be increased to 2.5 g (2500 mg).

Children aged 3–4 years should use 1 tablet (100 mg) 2 times a day; 5–6 years old – 1 tablet (100 mg) 3 times a day; 7–10 years old – 2 tablets (100 mg) 2 times a day day; 11–14 years old – 2 tablets (100 mg) 3 times a day.

Higher single doses: for children under 6 years of age – 100 mg; from 7 to 10 years – 200 mg; from 11 to 14 years – 300 mg; for adults and children over 14 years old – 750 mg; for elderly patients – 500 mg. The course of treatment is 2–6 weeks.

Noobut® IC can be combined with other psychotropic drugs, this increases its effectiveness (see the section “Interaction with other drugs and other types of interactions”).
Children.

The drug can be used by children aged 3 years and older.

Overdose.

Phenibut is a low-toxic compound; only in a daily dose of 7–14 g, with long-term use, it can be hepatotoxic. The indicated doses significantly exceed the maximum recommended daily dose (the average therapeutic dose is 750–2500 mg). Eosinophilia and fatty dystrophy of the liver were observed only at the higher dose. There were no such changes when using phenibut in lower doses.

Symptoms: drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, possible development of arterial hypotension, acute renal failure.

Treatment: gastric lavage. Symptomatic therapy.

In case of complications (arterial hypotension, renal failure), auxiliary and symptomatic measures should be taken.
Expiry date. 3 years.

Storage conditions.

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not higher than 25 °C.

Keep out of the reach of children.
